I think generally people are fine with pausing Netflix/Hulu, so an increase in price was bound to happen at some point.

I generally keep Netflix because its one of the few streaming services that has 4k HDR content (Amazon is the other). I tended to pause Hulu in the past, but my wife has Sprint and they offer the low commercial tier of Hulu, which I'm totally fine with for free. I frequently watch for a few months then pause HBO/Starz, etc. HBO is on pause right now until April. I have Starz as the moment because they had a $5 a month for 3 months deal and we are catching up on "Outlander" and I started watching "Counterpart".
