FLETCHER'S WOES CONTINUE, SPARTANS CAN'T GET OFFENSE GOING
If the Spartans were going to have a chance, they needed to score points. Unfortunately for them, it never got started. QB Walter Fletcher threw two interceptions, and went 9 for 18 passing for 96 yards.

Dark Cloud said his team just didn't look very sharp. "We just didn't have our "A" game or our "B" game today," he said.

The Spartans end the year at 10-2, an improvement from last season, though they don't necessarily feel like they have much to show for it. "We had a good year in our section and we could've done just a bit more down the stretch. But I appreciate their effort throughout the season," said Dark Cloud about his squad.

With key defensive starters leaving after this season, he recognizes that next year could be a season of transition. "We have some solid kids coming in, from what I understand. But we'll compete like we always do," he said.
