Hrothgar gathers you all in the mead hall for breakfast when it is brought to his attention that an early decision has been made. He is pleased that you are so sure of yourselves and glares at claphamsa, ready to string him up.
As the warriors descend upon claphamsa he alters form, twisting and warping into Grendel's mother. She lets out a horrid hissing noise, causing all of you to double over. When you look up, she is gone.
A voice carries to you on the wind in the distance, "You haven't heard the last of me, fools!"
