The rules state that the Extra Roles are publically known. Does that mean that as each of them arrive, they will be announced, both as player and as the role they play?

For instance, CW says "hoopsguy has arrived. He is Miss Peach."

Or is the publically known reference in the rules only stating that we know those roles are out there?
