Roth only started 7 league matches, he ended up splitting his goals among our cup matches. Shakespeare got many of his goals on penalties, while our assists came from striker to striker or from the wings.
Other Notes staring at this screen:
-- Colin Cole was a hell of a youth pull.
-- Cooper and Navarro both missed significant time with injuries, its nice we were able to hold up so well without them, I don't know if that would have been true last year.
-- I'm happy with the sheer number of defenders that gave me solid, mostly consistent play and ended up with ratings in the 6.8-6.9 range. Pickering still seems to be a slight standout over others, but Hernandez, Forrest and Burke at DC, Varela and Jackson at DR, all quite solid. Rongen ends up our best DL somehow, Coggins a bit worse and Campbell was awful.
