Keep in mind that the source may be pro-Michigan and is framing this more innocently than it is. The one Level 1 violation could result in a suspension - the NCAA usually ends up slapping wrists as long as there's no cover-up.

I don't think this is why the rumors were going around that Harbaugh was done with the college game, but you never know. At any rate, Michigan has to respond to the allegations now, and then the NCAA does its thing. And the Harbaugh to the NFL panic seems to have died a bit, but until NFL teams actually interview for openings, that doesn't mean much.

If it was over something stupid like this, it is a huge waste of time. NCAA needs to just let go of football and men's basketball - that cat is never going back in the bag.
