| The Bulldogs piled up almost 600 yards and 32 FDs while Northwestern had just 10 FDs. However, the Wildcats ran both Georgia INTs in for TDs to keep it close. Northwestern then took the lead with 1:11 left on a 10 play, 79 yard drive. Georgia got the ball back at their own 16 yard line. Six plays later, the Bulldogs had the victory on a 28 yard TD pass with 20 seconds left.
