So, we have a sim delay, but I have one update.
We have traded
RB Brody Carpenter away to Philadelphia. I give up. He seems to have every skill in the book, and I extended his contract thinking he'd be the real deal for us. Instead, a pretty modest 4.27 ypc, and that doesn't seem like it's worth $19m. With
Julio Henson aboard for less, I will just give him the first-and-ten duties, and hope that his mighty hole recognition skills pay off with more impressive surface stats. We'll use
Hector Schwartz as our utility back, and he ought to be fine.
We get back a 2nd and 4th (giving away a 6th), plus a useful OT in
Brett McCormick so this isn't a big cap-space move, as McCormick shows up making about the same base salary that Carpenter was. I think McCormick makes the team, but I'm not 100% on that, to be honest.
