Final Fortuna Game #22 – Home vs Zilina – I begin standard. I make no changes to my lineup. Can we get a result here? Right now we are 5th and tied with Trnava with 35 points. We need to win to stay in 5th, but it’s unlikely we’ll rise above 5th even with a loss at #4 by Streda. This is not a game I wanna spend time with. We lose 0-2. We had twice their shots, and four times as many on target, and 10% more possession but we couldn’t sink anything.
Niba was injured in the game for 2-3 weeks
We finish 6th!
We have to do very well in the Euro Qual Group from this spot. In real life Nitra finished this season at 7th so we are right around there.
