Four teams are at 5-2, but San Diego has the most standings points in the league. They also have the league's best defense. San Diego and Edmonton are very likely to be in the playoffs come the end of the season. It's not so cut-and-dry at the top of the Eastern Division, as Chicago still has plenty of games to make a move and claim one of the three playoff spots.

WEEK 8 GAMES

The best matchup of the week takes place on CBS on Saturday, as San Diego's top defense goes to Rutgers Stadium to face the league's best offense in the New Jersey Knights. Virginia and Boston will be a top matchup as well. Although not as marquee as the two aforementioned games, Chicago-Capital City and Los Angeles-Golden Gate will both play huge roles in setting up the playoffs.

Friday - May 3
Virginia at Boston (CBS)

Saturday - May 4
San Diego at New Jersey (CBS)
Chicago at Capital City
Texas at Edmonton
Los Angeles at Golden Gate
