buffalo/niagra falls question
Going camping w/ the family there 4th of July weekend(not a bachelor party). I was thinking about going to a Bisons game. Is this the type of situation where I should advance buy tickets, or can I just stroll in and get them at game time. I'm not 100% sure I am going to go, so I would prefer to wait if it's feasible. Also, what's the best casino option....Canada or the indian reservation. I may hit those up.
I know there's at least a few of you guys that live there(render?, someone else I'm sure). I'm not sure what the itinerary is for the weekend. I know we have some family picnic, and may take a jaunt to see my wife's cousin who is in jail. Bank robbery, slimy poker debt accumulating slimy boyfriend...long story. thanks in advance. |

The Bison's ballpark is huge for a AAA team, stroll on up!
Never been to the Indian Reservation, but no complaints about the Canadian side. |

Never been to Seneca myself, but what I've heard is generally not horrible. (Ringing endorsement eh?)
I'm a big fan of either on the Canadian side. Fallsview is newer, swankier, and more expensive (table minimums are, for the most part, much higher). But it's gorgeous, and worth at least taking a stroll through. Casino Niagara is definitely for the more budget-conscious. It used to be a hell-hole, but after the poker boom, they really reinvented themsevles. There's now a pretty nice sports bar/sports book, and an always-busy poker room (1/2NL, 2/4Limit and up). You can usually find a $10 minimum blackjack table or two, though most are $15. |

Definitely a stroll-in at the Bisons game, you'll never find a more gorgious Triple-A ballpark. Excellent fun for all!
As for the Casinos, I've only gone to the Seneca and while its not overwhelmingly exciting, it is a great place for some gaming and they have a top notch buffet. |

At the Bison's game, buy bleacher seats and move to better seating once the game starts.
The Seneca casino in Niagara Falls is not "the reservation". It's the old Niagara Falls convention center that the Senecas turned into a casino (and added on to). So where are you going to be camping? |

I've been to a Bison's game, but it's been a LONG time ago, I do remember that place was amazing. I'm thinking it was maybe 2-3 years after it opened. All I remember is that we listened to Casey's top 40 on the way up on multiple stations, and heard Taylor Dayne's "I'll be your Shelter" like 4 different times.
And it's Four Mile Creek State Campground. |

If you get a chance, try the steak house at Seneca (can't remember the name). As for the overall appeal of the casino, not sure as I was there for work so gambling was not an option.
