PureSim 2006 HTML Alamanac Sample Posted
Hey guys, one of the folks on my beta test team is posting the almanac that PureSim 2006 generates to his web site.
Not all the files are posted, and at this point it all looks better in the game, but its still a good thing to have a look at if you are interested in this feature for PureSim 2006. It's essentially integrated Catobase for PureSim. Mr. Cato, wherever you are, thanks for the inspiration. The deeper I dig into Cato the more stuff I uncover and have to look at adding to PS 2006! Here is a link to the theread where my tester is discussing this |

Looks good; one problem (?) I may have encountered, when you click on a player's name, the next screen, where I would assume his career stats would be, is basically blank.

Shaun,
If a purchase the 2005 version this weekend, will there be a discount on the 2006 version or should I just wait a couple of weeks.

I think you should probably wait a few weeks to be safe.
I think Matrix will be taking down PureSim 2005 soon to avoid people getting in this situation. |

Thanks Shaun. With baseball underway, I'm itching to play a baseball sim. Is there a demo for 2005, like a try and buy for 2005 that cures my fix.

Very sweet. On baseball-reference.com they list the minimum IP, PA, etc. for career leaders on BAvg, ERA, etc. Hopefully that'll make it into PS06.
Still looking for a couple tweaks for in game play, as I like to play my games out. In PS05, while playing games out, I would never have runners thrown out tagging up and going to 3rd or home (didn't try going to 2nd). Also, there never were injuries during games (injuries worked while simming though). Please take a look at those. Thanks. |

To add, I now see the minimum PA to qualify on the main screen, but when you click on the career link it is not listed.

Can we go ahead and make plans for an actual release party this time?

Yea the SAC fly stuff has been improved. I'll look into the injury stuff, I could swear I have seen some. Should be easy to check out. The graphical ball flight adds a lot to the in-game experience, as opposed to the old "line on the field" method. |

Awesome. Looking forward to purchasing the game. Already set aside money for PS2006 and OOTP2006. |
