When they said the Pope ghosted JD Vance I didn't know they meant it literally.

He actually did meet with Vance.

If you needed more proof Trump is the antichrist, the Pope died almost immediately after Trump's second in command met him on Easter.

Sorry to see the best Pope of my lifetime pass. R.I.P. And thanks for trying to push things in a good direction.

I know nothing about Catholic internal politics, but it will be interesting to see if the Church chooses someone that continues in his direction, or if the choice is going to mirror the general direction the world seems to be going.

Goodbye, Pope Francis, a very humble and joyful man. Most of my life it was Pope John Paul II. He was larger than life. A jetsetter, travelling everywhere and making headlines of things never done by a pope before. Benedict was a bump on a log. A figurehead who did nothing except argue and change symantics. Francis was definitely needed. Speaking of stewardship of the earth, science, acceptance, and care for the poor. Was more a friendly uncle type. I hope the groundwork he laid will sprout wings. He did appoint many cardinals with similar views so at least SOMEONE was preparing for the future.

Uh oh. The pope is getting more press. Cheeto won't like that. Perhaps he should follow the pope's lead so he'll be in the news again.
