The Optimal Lineup vs. Traditional Baseball Lineup
Interesting debate - this article is six years old, but I was wondering about our resident baseball junkies' thoughts on this. I'm considering trying out the "new-age" lineup in an OOTP online league this season.

"The Book" is an amazing sabermetric book and was a definite eye opener. The chapter on lineup optimization concludes by saying that the optimization technique, while valid, is barely scientifically significant (if I remember correctly)
