And he just did a classic "Musburger", when after the safety, he said Texas had to be sure to kick away from Ginn. Jeebus, how come they couldn't get Keith Jackson to do this big game.

#1 congrats to Texas, they got the biggest breaks at the biggest moments
#2 Brent musberger is a fucking moron, how the hell do they allow this mental midgit into the booth is beyond me. #3 I have no clue why they called him out of bounds, does college not allow the plane of the goal line to extend infinitely like the NFL rule? He didn't land out of bounds until long past the goal line, shoulda been a TD #4 OSU's biggest weakness it seems is indeed the quarterback(s) one can throw but isn't bright enough to use two hands on it when he's being tackled, the other can run like hell but has the passing reaction time of a dying rhino. I am seriously unimpressed with either guy. #5 I enjoyed this game immensly, right up until zwick dropped the ball. I wish other top programs had the BALLS to schedule bigtime opponents more often. At least the Buckeyes can say they lost to a quality opponent. Who was florida state playing again? the Citadel?? Bah, enough for me on this one, I'm seriously dissapointed in my coaching staff right now. A number of really bad play choices let this one slip through our fingers. Pun intended. |

I'll only refute the first FU Vince Young isn't a very good passer. he hit two on target passes all night long, every other throw was either a clean miss or thrown just innacurately enough to force his recievers to do miricles to catch them. Sorry, the kid is amazing running, but he's gotta work on his throwing a lot. |

Another shitty team from Florida. Good call though. I try to ignore the fact that Miami still somehow garners respect from the polls. God I hate Miami =) |

It was more in reference to all of the talk about how if you stop him from running, there was no way he could beat you with his arm. 18 of 29 for 272 yards with 2 TDs and 2 INTs is pretty good from someone who supposedly can't throw the ball to save his life. The only horrible throw I felt he made was the INT right to the linebacker.

Way to go Texas!! I'm not really a fan, but I hate Ohio State .
With the way Oklahoma has been playing, I'm seriously thinking Texas can run the table until the championship game.

Yeah, the problem is that it's looked like that a few years in the past right up until there was a minute left in Dallas. I'm fairly neutral on Texas (hate their big budget approach to college athletics, still had quite a few friends go there- both good and bad) but they just seem to have a real mental problem with that game. Don't get me started on the OSU tittie game in '03 when Dan Fouts called Miami the Dolphins. We all hung our head in shame when he said that...

Wow.
Just got back from Columbus. I think I can safely say that is the last time I will ever set foot in Columbus, OH. They had the highest per capita asshole fan ratio I've ever seen. From the moment we got to campus (four of us, one huge Texas fan and the rest of us wearing burnt orange to cheer along) about noon on Saturday, we were met with a constant stream of "F*** you." "Go f yourself." "Go the f back home." and my personal favorite, "Go eat cock." We were warned multiple times by nicer fans that we really needed to be careful after the game. I'll say this, every time we were in a sports bar, the fans were typically very nice, but outside on the streets it was really unbelievable. Other than that, we had a blast. Fantastic game. But, all in all, I have a hard time seeing how I'll ever cheer for Ohio State again. I can only imagine how it is on Michigan weekends. |

Great game. Disappointing to a Buckeye fan, but even at the end of the game you really couldn't separate these two teams. OSU had plenty of chances to put TX away, but didn't do it. Hope it's USC v. TX in the Rose Bowl, then Ohio State runs the table to play in another BCS game.

I felt it was the right time to bring these particular predictions back to light. I was 50% correct, and JiMidGA was 100% incorrect.
