1/24/06 DVD Release: THE ARISTOCRATS!
Funniest movie I've ever seen. It's out on DVD tomorrow and I am just itching to get my hands on it.
One of the jokes from the movie can be found at: hxxp://www.youtube.com/w/the-aristocrats?v=OvV9WzHYH5M&search=aristocrats Note: Definetly NSFW. But in the comfort of your home, it's quite funny. For those not familiar with the movies premise, it's about a joke where the punchline is always the same. It starts off with a someone telling a talent agent about their family show, then you make the joke as sick as possible, and end it with "We call it the Aristocrats". Just a must see. |

Very much a must see, I also saw it in the theatres and I very much enjoyed it. I had heard about it through a group of friends and really had no idea about it...but once I did more research and actually saw it, I loved it.
Good stuff, must buy!

Wow, I am so uterrly disappointed in this one. I was really looking forward to seeing this for a few weeks now, anticipating today's release date. A couple variations were funny, but overall, this really sucked. Even as a HUGE Gilbert fan (am I the only one? probably) I found his version not great either. Please help me find what was so great about this.

I was pretty disappointed in this one, too. Hard for me to believe that it made it to theaters, rather than like a HBO special-type show. Bob Saget, who I had heard was very funny, was the only bright spot for me.

These comments are distressing. I just rented it and am about to watch it. I think I'll get sloppy drunk first, just in case.

I don't think you can really look at from the standpoint of it being a straight up bust your gut funny movie, it's a documentary. I think people go into it expecting the wrong thing.
I enjoyed it, a few parts I laughed pretty hard at. It does get a repetitive and drag on, but when it hits it's very good. |

Well, I'm watching it right now, and I think conservative america would be the most blown away by it. I speak like this quite a bit, so I'm more used to it, BUT
It's funny. It is actually insiring to me. I plan on telling my own versions of this joke at parties. I keep thinking about cheese graters, unborn fetuses, frying pans, and bread.

Very much agreed, it isn't so much meant to be a super ass funny movie, but more or less all of these comedians talking about this joke and the legacy behind it. I very much liked it.
