Damn. I still want to punish Aerosmith for their disasterous decision to perform with the whore and the boy band at the Super Bowl, but I just can't let the Beatles win.

Just curious - what do people have against the Beatles? They're probably my favorite band. Is it just the whole "They're considered the best band ever so they can't actually be it" thing?

I know I get tired of hearing that they are the best (the same applies for Led Zeppelin and some other bands). And personally, I don't like their style of music. Strangely, I usually like their songs when they are performed by other bands.

But then again you think Def Leppard is a great band so you clearly have no taste in music. |

Kodos and JeeberD - What do you feel to be the Beatles style of music? I just find that they're extremely diverse, and each album has a very distinctive "sound" from all others.
What I like about them best is the songwriting. They do a fabulous job of mixing words and ideas with music.

I have no taste in music, as primelord points out. That probably accounts for most of my statements.

The Beatles are the far better band, even though I don't really like either one of them...

Oh, there will be other polls to take, but this is the end of the line for Musical Survivor. Let the dancing in the streets begin!

Heh, over on ClutchCity.net (the Houston Rockets fansite) someone has started a Rockets Survivor. It looks like the idea is to vote off who shouldn't be back with the Rox next year.
Look like you have a wide influence, Kodos...
