I went 4-1 again. My overall record is 8-2 and Crystal Method is representing Team Squid with a solid 2-0 record. Does anyone know if Team Squid is going to invest its dues in any new upgrades?

Actually I was fiddling around with that, and bought us a +25 Fitness or Agility I think, hell I don't even remember.

It really would be nice if folks with multiple members would just choose one to keep in, I think it would help us out overall. I'm not to worried about it either way, depends on what everyone wants.

From now on I'll put up a post on our board there to see what most people want as far as equipment, and we'll go with the majority. I was just fiddling around with it today, and I think maybe I can sell it if folks want something different bad enough.

Colossal Squid has also been retired, he was injured his first fight, and was overall a horrible horrible fighter..he won't be missed. C-Squid has however replaced him, and is hoping to have a better run.

I think in addition to choosing just one fighter, some people may want to retire fighters (or move them off the team) if they suck too much. I eliminated my first team member before they even fought because they sucked so much.

I agree with that also John, why I got rid of the first Squid.

I think it's a good idea to implement the 1 fighter only, any complaints to that?

btw, it was a +25 Agility I bought for the team.

Currently, I have only one member on Team Squid...I am new to this game, is there anything I should specifically be doing as a team member, other than winning?

We're all new except for Havok.

Nah as far as team related, just keep winning, so you'll bring in more cash for us to spend.

Other than that, just focus on your fighters, keeping them trained, buying them stuff, etc...

I think I'm going to go through and cleanse my team now, and redo some of them now that I have an idea what's going on. Some of them are pretty piss poor.

P.S. I must also add, what the hell happened to Erik? I seem to remember him smoking everyone on the team basically, and he's now 0-2? What's the deal-io?

after a few sims it would be nice to have a more "elite" team. Perhaps one with a W/L requirement. My initial thoughts are after 5 fights a fighter must have a 3-2 record or better to join. After that, they must stay above 50%. As a more elite groups takes form, the criteria could become stronger.

also, Fritz Cat House is till taking woman fighters.

3-2 isn't very elite. Why not limit the team to the 25 fighters with the highest score. A new team can be started for the rest.

3-2 is just a suggestion for a starting place.

It looks like a mature team will cut itself down to 5 people over time. That is where the most benefit come from in terms of player bonus.

Perhaps a tiered system with promotions and demotions would be thing to for in the future (assuming we get that far).

Yeah, really the plan for this team was for everyone to have a fighter in the same group, so we all had a comon bond.

I think now that we're starting to get into it(some of us at least) it might be time to maybe branch out some.

I think we could definitely go with a few new teams or such now.

Anyone ever figure out if the challenge system even works? I could never get it to override the fight I already had. I was thinking it would be cool if we had a tiered system like Fritz said, and maybe every 5-10 fights, whatever...we could have like a relegation/promotion fight. Would add a little extra excitement to the game I think.

Having a catchall group is fun and fine, but it will be a waste of "money" for players who want to develop a fighter.

More Fitness or Agility or whatever is fine with me.. I am still trying to figure the game out Vince Coleman is 1-0, hopefully will go 2-0 next sim to help team squid

Well, I'm not sure what limits this discussion is going to impose on Team Squid, but either way, I just applied with these three fighters.

Vitaly Chebotova (2-0)
Ilia Gulianskoi (2-0)
Anatoly Obrezkova (1-1)

Ok guys, I'm of the opinion...we should cut down Team Squid to one fighter per manager by let's say, the Friday fights? Then we can go a couple weeks like that, and then begin trimming it down even further, and creating the tiered system Fritz mentioned.

Anyone against this?

I don't know if it's okies to, but I joined Team Squiddie with Jefferson Oliveira. If it's already too crowded, let me know and I'll take him out.

As I said above, having a catchall team is not a bad idea, but the member should realize they will put more in than they will recieve.

By nature this "catchall" is an inclusive team, where a tiered system would be exclusive.
