NASCAR Poll
Just heard the guys on Fox Sports Radio (which plays late nights and Sunday nights here in Boston on WEEI) talking about NASCAR and I thought I'd post a poll here.
If you respond to the poll it'd be great if you could post your location as well, because I'm curious to see how that affects people's answers...if it's the breakdown people would normally suspect or not. |

I went through my NASCAR phase about 10 years ago. Watched it religiously and I knew enough that I understood it wasn't just going in circles and that there is a ton of strategy and whatnot that it would probably make a great Text Sim.
However, one day I missed a race on the tube and before I knew it the season was over and I hadn't watched but a quarter of the season and I found out I didn't miss it. I still think it would make a great text sim, but when your favorite driver doesn't do so well, takes the fun out it. At least that was my take. That and these aren't even "stock" cars anymore and I think they are soon going to a "car of the future" that is going to require every car to be indentical in body shape. |

Sport, falling popularity ... which I really hated to pick because what I'm really trying to say is that I think it's peaked/peaking, not necessarily that the fall is already underway.

I've started to watch it every weekend, basically by default cause there's no football on. I think it's rising, (hell they roped me in) not sure how high the ceiling is though.

Very rarely do I find myself watching a whole race - but I do like to know who wins and where the driver finishes that the company I work for sponsers - I do like to play the video games of nascar though...I just dont understand why they are the only sport that the game release happens at the end of their sports season.

Non sport - but I would think rising popularity, as much as it bothers me.
