Eating in miami
I'll be in Miami/Lauderdale area for a few days and am looking for a great seafood place. Also, anything about the Cuban restaurants, I’ve heard their food is excellent

Well since i live in Miami if your looking for seafood you should go to red lobster. But for some really good food go to the Cheesecake Factory their stuff is one of the best in town at a good price. If you want a good sub for cheap(doesnt taste cheap) you should go to the sub shop on 441 and miarmar parkway. hmm i'm hunger

Noop, were you serious about the Red Lobster statement??? I can't believe that a ubiqitous chain serving over-priced, bland seafood (compared to many of the fresh fish places on the coasts) would be a recommendation for Miami. Surely there are speciality restaraunts in South Florida serving fresh fish with a caribbean influence.

no i was serious about the red lobster, but for a good seafood place its kinda hard to find because there are so many places that are all the same if you ask me. Ekoostik Head what exactly are you looking for? Good take-out or good dine-in because all the best places to eat are in the worst part of town. I don't know if you white black or purple but the best place is in a mostly black community. noop

noop,
i'm looking for a dine-in place. Not real particlular about the part of town b/c i'll be eating an early dinner(4-5pm). a couple i was considering-- Joe's stone crab, Chowders, maybe Fishbone Grille. is the sub shop 'the hungry bear', sounds like a good place to pick up lunch on my way down to marathon. |

The sub shop I'm talking is called Philly Steak Sub Shop its located on 6025 Mirammar Paryway, Miaramar,Fl everything there is under six bucks for a great sub trust me. Here's the number if you want 954-964-8686
