Hey Jim
Here's an idea for your next game. An arena football, or CFL game. Here's the method to my madness: Imagine the players that don't immediately making the pros migrating into one of those leagues with the potential to later improve enough to (Kurt Warner) get noticed and given a chance.
I know it's not going to happen, but that would create an entire football universe. Even more so if you go for FOF:THSY. Follow the recruits up the ranks from high school up to the pros. Okay, this might be related to the recent dynasty of mine. I've got to figure out a way to tie that one up since the player that I was following wasn't drafted. They guy goes 32-4 as a starter with 3 conference championships and a national title and then doesn't even get drafted, frustrating. I could see a late round draft or a flop in the NFL but usually a QB like that will at least end up being taken, he was a 2.0/2.1 rating in the draft screen, that seems way too low, especially when some of the QB's rated above him did next to nothing in college. Sorry, this part isn't directed at you Jim, just a bitch session for me at the moment. Add the fact that my Eagles should be playing today if it weren't for their choke last week and I may be a little bit pissy today. |

Something must be bugging you since this is just a ridiculous idea.

Or they got beat by the better team. That never seems to happen though, does it? |

Not in this case, I doubt you'd find a Philly fan to concur either...they lost to the Rams prior, that was a better team...the Bucs...no I'm sorry, the Eagles did very poor play calling...but you can argue that they lost. Feel free to rub in though, that's why I'm watching movies all today and waiting for spring training. |

Hey Jim
A CFL Sim would be great. Three downs, and you can get points from punting.

I still think a football universe sim is ideal, but probably too much for any one person to tackle.
The NFL, AFL, CFL, WLAF, College and High-School all in one game where you could choose to build your reputation as GM and/or Head Coach in hopes of being offered a job in successively higher levels. |

Sounds just like that often wished for football version of Championship Manager!
