In the other Middle East thread, there's alot of talk about the current situation, the right/wrong, whos at fault, the morality of the situation etc.

But talk is cheap, lets talk about solutions, next steps etc.

I thought it might be interesting to hear from people what they would do if they were players and able to influence the situation. A good (some say fruitless) exercise in brainstorming.

So lets try this.

1. State who (name) is
2. State any basic assumptions
3. State overall objective
3. State what steps would be taken
