Too bad the snake didn't see if that idiot holding the camera could breathe.

I found this really disturbing. But then again, I have a conscience. I guess some people don't.

exactly. As it was, without hearing the frigging morons doing the play by play, I found it fascinating in the sense that it taught me how it really happens. I mean, I knew how it was, just had never seen it.

Now, about them morons screaming and yelling, that I could have done without... And no, I didn't find anything "funny" about it...

Uh.. the snake didn't just go out in the wild and eat the goat, this was all staged. Here snakey, snakey.. daddy brought you a goat home.

Just like when we go to the zoo and watch them feed rats to snakes, fish to seal and slabs of animal parts to felines? A goat is bigger but so is the snake. I didn't listen to the sound but apart from that, it's like a nature film (if you ignore the part about animals being caged, which I hate).

The biggest question is: Did the snake eat the goat, or did they just bring the goat in contact with the snake to show off how it kills.

While it sucks for the goat, it would be cruel I believe in this case, if the goat was killed just for show (I don't think the snake would have attacked if it wasn't hungry). I was disturbed because in the conversation they were talking about other animals and how they would handle the snake which leads me to believe this was more experimental than feeding time.

I recall a documentary where they said the pressure of a constrictor on a man was the equivalent of a schoolbus on your chest for about 45 minutes, they had hypothesized that it was the equivalent of a small car. So in any case, I wouldn't be messing with them...

I love the lion hunt in that you see how fast it reacted, it was like a locomotive. I do feel that it's a stupid practice as there is no beneficial reason for hunting the lion.

This particular snake doesn't have the option of hunting.

It's disturbing because goats are vaguely dog-like, but those snakes do eat animals as big as that. At least these guys are keeping their pet well-fed.

Ok, it's just disturbing to me because it definitly looks staged and I feel bad for that goat. They were talking about getting a pit bull for the snake to eat, I mean... sheesh.

I'm not a hunter, but hunting for food I'm ok with, just to hunt to have a lion's skin at your house, I'm completely against.
