360: NHL 07 Blues Mini-Dynasty
This is an EaglesFan27 inspired dynasty. It will be low down and dirty.
Xbox 360 - NHL 07 I have both games and since EA's dynasty mode is a bit less envolving, I've decided it would be easier to do a mini-dynasty with their offering instead of 2k's. Settings: All-Star - 10 min periods - manual shooting - the rest defaults |

We start the 2006-07 season with 3 road games.
A 3-2 loss as San Jose wins their home opener. A 4-3 loss to the LA Kings. Backup goalie Jason Bacashihua makes his first start of the season and we lose in the shootout to Anaheim, but salvage a point 5-4. Next up: Boston takes their 1-2 to St. Louis for our home opener. I send Jay McClement down to the minors and bring up Peter Sejna to see if I can get our 4th line going with more than just checking. |

Yeah, the one thing the framerate in NHL 07 bugs me is playing defense. If it had 2k7's framerate, this game would be almost perfect... well that and the dynamic camera. I need a W badly. |

Chicago goes up early 1-0 on a goal by Pavel Vorobiev.
Our leading goal scorer, Bill Guerin gets hurt and we'll find out later the extent of it. Dallas Drake ties the game at 1 with a nice rebound goal. With a minute to go, Bryan Smolinski scores a shorthanded goal to put Chicago up 2-1 at the end of the first period. Doug weight scores in the first minute of the second period and the score is tied 2-2. Chicago goes on the powerplay and Duncan Keith gives them a 3-2 lead. Peter Sejna puts a beautiful wrister by LaLime and once again we tie the game 3-3. That tie is short lived as Martin Havlat scores on a breakaway to put Chicago up 4-3. That's where it will stand at the end of 2. Tumo Ruutu gives Chicago a 5-3 lead and then goes in to defensive mode to win the game. * We get word that Bill Guerin has a broken leg and will be out until at least December. Great... Next up: St. Louis (3-4-0-1) at Detroit (5-4-0-1) |

I've been playing NHL 2k7 again and well, TCY has been getting most of my free time. C'mon it's not like it's anything new for my console game dynasties. Last edited by MizzouRah : 10-13-2006 at 12:35 PM. |
