Red Flags: What Exactly do they mean?

Most of these guys look very disloyal when I view them but on the one game I have tried none of them have any animosity toward other players (dislike is what the game calls it)... Anyone figured out if there is more to it than they are disloyal and want winners badly???

It would be nice if we could click on the red flag text and get some detail on why it is there???

I also noticed that their personalities are "very weak"... It would seem they would be "strong" personalities if they may disrupt my team as I think the feature list alluded to?

They also don't appear to be very popular. Not quite sure if I was right about the loyalty thing because Mike Seidman has a red flag and he is very loyal while my other two red flags are not.

From the Solecismic web site....

Quote:
The Red Flag. A few players will receive the dreaded designation: Red Flag. Those players could create drama, leading to performance problems on the field.

Also, the help file says under "Notable":

Quote:
icons showing whether the player is a potential clubhouse disrupter (red flag) or a mentor (helps young players develop)

Ah thanks I searched the help file but must have missed that...

So a red flag could be a good thing (a mentor) or is there a seperate notation for that type player (I have not seen another type notable yet)...

Mentors were new in FOF2K4. Red Flags are new in this version. Two different things.

Although, in a way - not necessarily in the code literally, but conceptually - you could maybe view the Red Flag as the polar opposite of a mentor?

I guess it's a stretch.. bah... just me babbling as much as I can to not think about waiting for the game
