What would interest you more?
Hey everyone,
I will be running the next game after Anxiety's, but he has chosen a very popular theme. Kudos to him (I am hoping to play myself), but that might mean I need to make a popular theme to get people to play my game--and I am aiming for a large game. The two themes I have been considering: Jack The Ripper in 19th century London or the Dark Tower. I have pretty much fully developed the JTR game. Dark Tower is still in the early stages. So what would interest you all more? I will focus on the more popular choice. Thanks!

I almost used a JTR theme myself for the 12 player game. I'd go with that as I think it's more well known than Dark Tower and would certainly interest me more.

Dark Tower, it would be a good follow up to LOTR. King said the Dark Tower was a tale born from LOTRs.
Watch for the walkin dude. All hail the crimson king. But really both sound like good theme's. Last edited by Grammaticus : 11-02-2006 at 11:00 PM. |

I don't know Dark Tower, I like Jack the Ripper, but I honestly doubt I could play either unfortunatly. Thanksgiving will mean I likely will be away for a few weeks

Chief, I don't have a strong preference between those two topics. Whichever game you feel that is better developed is the one I would elect to play.
I know the basics of Jack the Ripper and I read the first couple of Dark Tower books many years ago. But I'm far from subject matter expert on either. |

I would be interested in the dark tower as long as there are no spoilers

I have the dark tower books as a present, but still haven't read them. Maybe a dark tower WW will inspire me to read it.
