BTW guys, I apologize for not being around yesterday. I was all screwed up on the deadlines and thought we had until 10PM tonight for some reason.....which makes no sense in hindsight since there were judges that had to do their thing.

oh ok. well, I have bad news for you. you did not get a wolf today. I wish those 2 of you who are villagers well. I have a feeling though you won't be gettting too many folkks admitting to be wolves anymore. I will say, I voted for JE. I thought he has led this tribe subtly. So that might be something to look at through the old posts. again, Good luck to the villagers.

I just cut and pasted from the first post in the challenge thread before BK changed the teams. I don't think I'm supposed to edit the content of posts. I'll post another one, but first:
What is schmidty's deal? Is he in or out? |

Kwhit, I'm pretty sure the old Oz was clean. They had the seer and RA was likely the wolf. I asked BK if the zero wolf total was before or after RA was gone and it was after.
Now, they may very well have voted their seer off for all we know. |

Anxiety and Kwhit, what happened in Lupus regarding the Idols? Did you guys really pass them like Blade said or keep them?

I'm not really sure. I have no idea how we are going to use the thread or what information (if any) we'll share. Of the top of my head, I think we can use it as a way to keep each tribe honest so that we don't have another instance like Oz, but I'm not sure how that would work. I'll keep everyone informed in what is said, but it might not be anything exciting or even interesting. |

What do you guys make of BK opening the threads to the dead? Do you think that means a wolf was killed. Seems like that means the kill rate is going down, so no need to bring anyone back as the game will last long enough anyway.

Honestly, as aggravating as the whol Oz lie was, it did not really cause damage and things worked as they should. Hopefully the Idols did go to Oz as they should in hopes of hitting the seer and we did get most of the RA story.

What up new team? I'm checking in. I'll read the thread and get caught up later, but for now, I wanted you to know I was here and I'm happy to get new teamates! I loved workign with my old ones, but he group got a little small, and it was hurting us since the first day, and I'd love to see what momentum can do for us!!!

For us it depended on what the day and task were. I wrote the wiki entry for us, and Swaggs edited it, added links and footnotes and posted it. I also did the most posts by far on that day we had to vote at specific times. I also came up with our voting strategy on our lots. On the other habd, KWhit mainly was behind our famile fued submission and so forth.

Rock on, New Howard! Hopefully, Gram and I can impart some of that Helsing magic into this tribe as well.
Number of wolves? One from Old Helsing, one from Lupus, and maybe one from Old Howard. I'll read up on your thoughts from earlier in this thread, but based on the common thread, I figured that path and JE would vote off the other two -- whether they're villagers or one wolf, one villager, they seemed to be of like mind to me. The idol? Interesting play by Blade, to lie about passing it, and antagonize everyone in the process. Did he say he was going to do it in the Lupus thread, or suggest it as an idea? One thing that was nice about Old Helsing is that we bounced ideas off other tribe members before doing dumb things like that. The challenges? Let's rock 'em. |

No, he just did it. To be fair, I don't think any of us were online at the time, but he made the play in the main thread first. Only later did he explain himself in our thread. It made me very uncomfortable for him to do that and I wanted no part of the ploy, so I led a last minute charge to get him voted off. I have no idea what happened to his idol when he was voted off. I gave mine to a member of Oz the next day when I said I did. |

That sounds like the right play to me. It's one thing to lie, but if you're going to do it, he should have at least made sure his tribe had his back. Can I ask what his explanation was? |

His theory was that if he said the idols went to Oz, then the wolves would avoid attacking anyone from the Oz tribe as a precaution. If they attacked one of our tribe, we'd at least have a chance of being saved by the idol. Not bad logic, but I felt that the dishonesty would put targets on the heads of the entire tribe. Especially since I thought that the lie would be found out pretty quickly. |

I don't believe Howard really talked about why we thought ntn was a wolf, but three of us did, so that says something. For my part, it was a combination of a couple things. First, on the timed voting trial, one of his times (maybe his only, I don't remember how many he did) was a minute late even though all of us had been in the Howard thread in the minutes leading up to the vote. He said it was a problem with the board, and maybe it was, but it caught my attention. I didn't think much of it at the time, but when I started thinking about things later with the information that we definitely had a wolf in our tribe, that little thing came back to me. The other thing was that he was heavily involved in the bidding for territories challenge. I'm still not sure what to make of all that, but to me, the votes with Helsing were too close for comfort. It seemed entirely plausible that a wolf could alter our bids to make us lose, and if that's the case, then ntn made a good candidate to be a wolf. |

For the record, ntn only had two votes on him. I just read back all of this thread, and I think the bidding whoop-dee-doo was just a big coincidence. If you could see the Helsing thread, you'd see that we spent a ton of time talking about it. I think I talked a lot about it in the common thread, but even with that, I never mentioned who it was that made our changes. Anyway, I'm not sure I see an obvious connection between the two tribal threads. Gram, you have any thoughts on it? |
