McDonald's All-American game...
WOW, One thing LeBron is good at, is BASKET HANGING, is it me... He literally sits at the opponents three point line, waits for them to shoot, his team gets a rebound and by then he is at his hoop. NO Defense... He ought to play on the Dallas Mavericks.

You have to have a "J" to be on the Mavs.

Billy,
This is an all-star game for goodness sake. Give the kid a break already. Let's have this conversation in 3 years, not tonight or next week. TroyF |

You are right Troy in that he should not be evaluated until that point or later. The problem is everyone is annointing him NOW. If he is not a superstar within 2 years, he will end up being called a bust. And considering all the ticket sales Cleveland is made, they almost need to force his playing time right away.

It's hard NOT to evaluate him now. He's in the spotlight, making the big $$$$, so he's going to be watched everywhere he goes.
Heck, if he plays a pickup game at the YMCA, people will find things to critique him on. Todd |

James will be fine early on. He'll struggle some his first year, but he'll do well.
Judging a players defense in an all-star game, no matter who he is, show a complete lack of understanding of all-star games. I don't care how highly touted the guy is. TroyF |
