random crashes contninue
I continue having random crashes while playing FOF2001. It will crash when I click on something from one of the menus. Gives me an illegal procedure message and then crashes to desktop, no lockup. Happens about once or twice per season. I now save frequently, which is a little annoying, but better than losing a season. It is worth the minor annoyance to play this very good game, but I would prefer not to have it. My system is very stable and I don't have this problem with other games. I'm running a standard Dell 433celeron 96mb ram straight from the factory with nothing extra. Don't want to fiddle with my settings just for this one game.

Sorry, EA's got your money and doesn't give a shit. No patch, no news about patches, no communication of any sort, no nothing.
A big "Up Yours" from EA is all you get. |

Lafayette, LA, IN, or where? Strangely, the random crashes have grown fewer and fewer. In my last session, over two full seasons, I didn't have a single crash. I continue, however, to save frequently. Does that make sense?

Well, seeing the wintek email address, I would guess Lafayette, IN.

Random crashes continue. I save after every major action. Never crashes during simming, only when clicking on a new screen. Too bad, because it is a great game. EA owes us a patch. This is my last EA product.
