Ping Xbox guys - Xbox live messenger question

Hey folks...

Finally got Mrs Leafs up and running with her new Xbox 360, and set up her Xbox live connection yesterday. During the setup, we ended up using my old hotmail e-mail address during her account creation, rather than create a new MSN address. But I didn't realize that I was also using that address for MSN Messenger, so now my contact list is showing up in her profile and she's getting messages from my friends looking for me.

Is it possible to change the Messenger account and/or e-mail address associated with her profile? I can see where I can change the e-mail used to send her information, but not the one that's actually associated to the account.

Call Xbox support and ask them.

FWIW, I called to get a credit card removed from my account (I actually have removed it, but it still shows as the default one in the dashboard and makes me jump through hoops every time I want to buy something from Marketplace). That apparently is going to take up to 30 days for someone to get back to me from accounting or whoever to actually remove it, but in the meantime they gave me a one month code for Live. Maybe you'll get one, too, for your hassles.

(That's the second month I've received recently. First one was for RROD warranty work. Microsoft seems to be trying very hard to make it up to customers on these issues.)
