College Hoops 2k8 - A Dynasty of Randomness and Interactivity
This entire dynasty will be centered around my coaching legacy as I start off with Northern Colorado of the Big Sky. Basically, as I progress, anyone who is interested can make a recruit by giving me a name, state, position, height/weight and type of player, and I'l add them. I'll give periodic updates and also people can ask for the most random of stuff, be it who the best recruits are, top freshman, individual teams, etc.
Just stuff to give me more of a feel for the atmosphere in the dynasty. So without further adu, here comes our shitty team! |

VMI @ Northern Colorado
VMI spanks us 105-81. Taibi has 23 points to lead our team, but sadly he forgot to play defense, allowing their SF Chavis Holmes to score a game high 30 points and humble us in some pre-season tournament thats name escapes me where lots of awful teams have congregated for the week to showcase how not to play basketball. |

Northern Colorado vs Dartmouth
They call this a consolation game. It's a nice way to refer to a game where one shit teams meets another shit team and the only people watching our players parents and girlfriends, and with how ugly our team is, they probably have no girlfriends. Thankfully we bring the pain enroute to a monsterous 76-62 victory. Four of starters are in double figures, lead by PG Panagoita with 15 points and 6 assists. SF Mason added 18 points and 7 boards and C Archibeque added 15 and 8 boards. On the way out of the arena we moon those non schollie Ivy leaguers then piss on one of their varsity jackets. |

Northern Colorado (1-1) @ Iowa (1-0)
We rushed the floor in Iowa! A 65-64 OT victory gives us a 2-1 record and a reason to buy alcohol for minors! The game is a huge lift to our team, and then so is the high school party we stopped by afterwards. These girls are sluts these days! Archibeque was kind tonight with 16 points and 4 boards, the only player on our team in double figures, but the rest of the team didn't suck enough to blow this one. |

Up there with Duke/North Carolina, we bested those Hippies from the South in a 67-60 thriller. Or snoozer. Or just a meaningless game. Talibi had 18 points, as did Panagonia, and Archibeque kept rolling with 16 and 11. After the game Talibi smoked down a member of Denvers coaching staff, actually offering to buy the weed himself. That makes the first dime he's had all season. |

We lose to the Colorado State Sonny Lubicks 68-65. It was a game where we had three guys score 10 points in Panigona, Talibi and Archibeque, but sadly, none of them had it in them to score 13. Those idiots. |

Recruiting Update
We've offered two scholarships early on in the season .. *** PF Tracy Blanchard - Juco SO: Currently Denver is the only other team to offer him, but he likes them a tad more then us now. He's technichally a center but is only 6'7" and 230 so he'll probably play PF for us unless we go to a small lineup. *** SG Alberto Famutimi - HS SR: Has interest from Colorado State, us, San Diego State and Denver, we're the only team to offer yet, but we're second on his list behind CSU. He is the 378th ranked player in the Nation and 38th best SG. He is going to be a big coup if we can land him. |

We win and yet we lose. We win the game 72-60 behind another big performance form Archibeque who score 16 and chimes in with 9 boards. SF Mason has a big game too with 11 points and 9 boards to give us an edge on the glass. However we learn Tracy Blanchard is going to Denver, that idiot. |

Idiots! We lose to Denver.. this time on the court, 54-53. Archibeque was usual is the only one who does anything for our inferior team netting 11 and grabbing 8 boards in the loss. It's time to get these tools in shape or we're going to have an abysmal year and then how will I springboard to a good job? |

We lose 74-69, and actually look good. I knew we were in trouble though when Talibi hit our last bucket and snickered at us having 69, thusly deciding to stop scoring so it'd be a funny story to tell. He did have 17 though, so that's okay I guess. Mason is a beast with 15 and 10. |
