IWS #42

IWS #42

IWS Rules

This is a copy of the rules which have appeared in countless other versions of IWS...

The object of this contest is to answer the questions posted below, and to provide the most common answer among those submitted. This answer does not have to be correct.

For each question, your score will be equal to the number of people who submitted that response. Your score for the contest will be the product of your individual question scores. Highest score wins.

Example: If you answer 'Frog' to question one, and 6 other people did too, you get 7 for that question. Your total score is the product (that's multiplying, for those non-math inclined) of all six of your scores. So if you get, say, 1, 15, 7, 9, 4, 3, you'd end up with a total of 1 * 15 * 7 * 9 * 4 * 3 = 11,340.

Send your entries by private message to me, EagleFan, via PM on the FOFC board. Entries must be submitted by 12:00 PM (Central) on Saturday June 28, 2003

The winner of this contest will become the host of the next "I'm With Stupid" Contest. If he chooses not to host the contest, the next highest placing participant who wishes to host may do so. In the event of a tie, one winner will moderate, and all winners will have the option to contribute questions.

1. In your opinion, name the worst NFL head coach over teh past 23 years (dating back to 1980).

2. Name a specific Winter Olympic Event.

3. Name a team from the USFL.

4. Name Jim's next game.

5. In your opinion, what is the best console system ever.

6. Pick a whole number between 1 and 20.

7. Name an active Major League Baseball player that will, in your opinion, be a first ballot Hall of Famer.

Sorry about the extra question, haven't been in the IWS's for a while, didn't realize the number was usually 6.

I think a couple of these could make good MMR questions too, except numbers 4 and 7 which would be too easy to come up with something off the wall.

Hmm, they could, actually - especially #3. I had toyed with the idea of having more than six questions myself, to be honest.

Have fun in Houston. We're up to 18 entries so far with another day left. Think we can hit the 25 mark?

We're over the 25 entry mark. Maybe we can get 30. How about if I offer a complimentary lap dance from Fritz to the next person that enters.

(shameless attempt at prodding)I just heard on another forum that HM says more people aren't entering the IWS #42 because they aren't cocky or funny enough to carry his jockstrap. Talk about a blessing is disguise.

You're not going to take that from him are you? (/shameless attempt at prodding)

Wink

I think people are afraid ending up behind me and think they are terrible in IWS contests...

There's nothing to worry about though, there's a baseball question in this IWS...

You're currently second but anything can change at this point, with 28 entries so far.

that would be a real shock...
Not only too me, but what should all the other competitors think, they did terrible on this IWS?

I guess questions #1 and #3 will be the tie-breakers in the end.

Just an update:

12 poor Haitian boat-people children in Marathon Key Fl. have been given a lapdance courtesy of Chief Rum. The oldest, Miguel, had this to say:"les gros hommes dansants m'incitent à vouloir le sexe "
