The Big One. Arsenal v Man Utd FA Cup 5th Round Game Thread
alright i'm paying 16 bucks for this i might as well my own thread
sorry for the tease as this game is PPV but i'm sure there some crazy asian feed on the internet somewherethere's a preview below but Man Utd HAVE to win this one. as Carlos Tevez said in the build this game could have Title ramifications (after a loss last weekend Man Utd now trail Arsenal by 5pts, Arsenal still have to return to Old Trafford later in the year) it looks like Arsenal will be without about a dozen players and there is talk in-form striker Adebayor will be rested for a potentially/debatedly even bigger game vs AC Milan on Wed in the Champions league, what lineup Wenger puts out there is the most intriguing part of the pre-game talk. as an Arsenal fan the key to all the injuries, and the game, is at RightBack and LeftBack, i'm really concerned that ManU's very talented wingers are going to cause all sorts of probelms oh, and everytime Arsenal has beaten United recently it's b/c we've dominated the midfield so Cesc needs a cracker game and if it's Gilberto to replace Flamini he better come to play like a veteran fighting for place should p.s. please Mr. Wenger dont play a 4-5-1, please...preview below...game kickoffs off at 12:15pm est Quote:

Hopefully a bar around here has this one, I really don't feel like watching this on my browser.
That 2005 final was so awful, it's still hard to believe we ended up losing that day. C'MON UNITED |

There will be some crazy Asian feed covering the game (though the crazy Swedish feeds seem to kick out the best quality), but I've shelled out the $15 for ppv to get the better picture quality too.
If the Man Utd v Arsenal game can match the Liverpool v Barnsley one, it'll be a great game ![]() |

Looks like alot of changes to both sides and neither Ronaldo or Adebayor starting.

Arsenal: no kids on the bench, all semi-fit regulars plus Adebayor
4-4-2 for both sides (but man utd has Nani as forward so maybe maybe not) |

I thought it was a definite penalty in the last minute, but justice was done. My first try of FioS ppv for the Man Utd v Arsenal game and I'm still getting a "Your ppv event will begin shortly" message and no game. Maybe I need to go find a p2p feed instead... |

Helb with a volley blocked by Erva, seconds later Rooney beats offside trap, Lehman alert to leave 18 yard box and make narrow clearance

Love the commentary from soccernet.com from the 30th minute:
"Old Trafford sings in unison, 'Wenger, what's the score?'" I wonder what they're singing now. |

This could be one of the few times that Ferguson resting Ronaldo won't come back to bite us in the ass. Nani has been excellent.

Yeah, I would like to see Saha/Tevez on for Rooney, and Scholes on for Anderson at some point.
Hopefully we keep attacking, I'd like to run the score up on these guys especially after those first two challenges to open the half. |

Anybody else using Fios PPV? The service is so bad, even comcast would be embarrassed.
