GHOLSTON GOING UP

It's generally accepted that Ohio State linebacker Vernon Gholston improved his draft stock at the Scouting Combine. And the early reports from his Friday Pro Day workout are even more encouraging.

Per the Palm Beach Post, Gholston improved his measurables on Friday, running the 40-yard dash in 4.58 seconds and showing off a 42-inch vertical leap.

Gholston will have a personal workout on Monday, and the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets are expected to attend.

Why not Gholston to Miami #1? If it's not going to be Ryan or McFadden he makes more sense then Chris Long or Dorsey. Jake Long shouldnt be forgotten

another great pro day belonged to Joe Flacco, rumors say several teams have him ahead of Matt Ryan

elsewhere, QB Woodson had an okay workout, still 3rd rounder.

a player i'm really keeping an eye on is RB Rashard Mendenhall. i saw him a lot and he was a beast for Illinois, what about my team the Bears at 14, would they take him? will he be there?
