New MMO's

Not sure how many of you play online games, but for those who do and get a chance, check out Atlantica:

Atlantica Online: Strategic Turn-based MMORPG from Ndoors

They are looking for more testers in the closed Beta stage.

Also, the rumors are true. There will be a Star Wars MMO that is based upon the KOTOR setting, and I am hoping it is better than Galaxies (which I could not even download it was so horrid).

It kinda reminds me of the old RPG games on the Nintendo and PS1 (Shining Force, Final Fantasy Tactics, etc.). I still haven't decided if I actually like it though.

I liked Star Wars Galaxies before they just completely destroyed it.

Only MMO I'm looking forward to right now is Stargate Worlds.

I miss a good TCG online. I used to play WWF's one and it killed many an hour but now nothing.

SWG was a real snoozefest when it was released. I can't tell you how disappointed I was with that product. I hope the KOTOR-based game is better.

So did I, although it did have some problems. But what they did was rip out everything that was good and left the crap that was there. The last time I tried Galaxies, it was a choppy, buggy mess with Jedi running around everywhere.

I'm hoping that The Old Republic turns out good. BioWare is making it and they haven't let me down yet.

I have heard that Galaxies is pretty much as you describe it here. I had problems even downloading it so I gave up. BioWare is a good company, so I have high expectations for The Old Republic.
