New IPhone- Old Ipod Question
So I'm possibly going to take the plunge and buy an iPhone today. My music library is in iTunes on my computer and I sync that to an older 5g ipod.
When I buy my iPhone, will it be easy to just replace what my music syncs to, so the iPhone will download all of my current music? Or are there some issues I could experience? For instance, what happens to music/video I bought in iTunes that is currently on my old iPod? I assume that just doesn't magically transfer over to the new iPhone, right, because of the license issues? Anybody have experience with this? |

I believe that when you first attach your new iPhone to iTunes, iTunes will ask you what you want to sync with the iPhone. You should be able to transfer music and video by syncing the corresponding folders to the iPhone. While it's true that you cannot transfer your music directly from your iPod to your iPhone, you should have no problem doing this via your computer.
