WCOOP time again

Well, I'm back at it. As some of you might remember, I was brutally knocked out just short of the money in the inaugural PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker event back in 2005. I'll be in the WCOOP Event #18 HORSE tourny tomorrow, starting at 4:30PM Eastern. Feel free to stop in and follow along!

I had a Level 4 ticket, and this was the only $215 entry fee tourney left. I figured I'd enter this one instead of trying to win a couple of more qualifiers to move up to one of the last NLHE events.

Unfortunately, no. These tickets were only for WCOOP events. I'd feel a whole lot more confident in a NLHE event than HORSE. But this will be a good test of how far my Omaha and Razz game has come. I only have $8 invested in the ticket, so I'm getting in cheap.

Wow, this is going to be a LOOONG tourney. We are at the second break, two hours in. Out of 2091 that started, there are still over 2000 playing. I'm right around the 400 spot in chips, and eventually the top 304 will get paid.

Now at the third break. Still over 1600 active. I lost a couple of big pots in Razz that really put a dent in my stack. But I still have more chips than I started out with, and am only 800 off of the average stack.

Still kicking at the fourth break. There are still about 1150 players alive. I won a decent hand right at the break to move me up around the 600 spot in chips.

I tried to say hi, i forgot I don't have much money on stars, so I can't chat in that tourney! Good luck.

And I'm done. My flush was knocked out by a full house in Omaha H/L. I got knocked down a bunch right after the break in Limit Hold'em, when I couldn't improve with JJ and AKs on back to back hands.
