USA-Today Trivia
According to refdesk.com, today is the anniversary of the founding of USA Today. Love it, hate it, or mock it, one cannot deny that it is a very, very popular paper. In fact, it has the second highest worldwide circulation of any English-language broadsheet newspaper.
And that is the trivia question. Which English-language broadsheet newspaper is #1? EDIT to clarify: A broadsheet newspaper is basically a "newspaper" sized newspaper. i.e. not a tabloid-size. Last edited by albionmoonlight : 09-15-2008 at 07:56 AM. |

I had to look it up so I won't spoil it. But the answer I found definitely surprised me.

That was going to be my guess as well, but since they said the answer would suprise us, I assume that is not correct. |

Wall Street Journal was going to be my guess as well. After I looked it up, I was really surprised by the answer.

Probably something Indian. I'd imagine with their cultural roots as an english province and massive population that they should have at least one huge english newspaper.

Echoing that, Times of India is likely #1.
