TEW: ECf'nW!
With the problems with my WWF game, I reinstalled the database, did some checks, and everything worked out well. This time I will use my first love, ECW, in the same 1997 time period. It'll be violent and vulgar, so be advised.

The world of wrestling in December, 1997
Hot off the heels of the Montreal Screwjob, the landscape of pro wrestling has been changed forever. As WCW continues to surge ahead in the Monday Night ratings, the WWF is treading water, trying to save themselves from drowning. Things seem bleak though, as WWF mainstay Bret Hart left for WCW, but not before being the victim of the biggest screwjob in wrestling history. Meanwhile as WCW wages war on WWF, there remains a promotion with a legion of fans that strives on chaos and controversey, a promotion based out of bingo falls in Philadelphia, and ballrooms in New York. That promotion is ECW, and it's mission to innovate its way to greatness. |

ECW News
- Our show does a .01 on MSG. Obviously this isn't going to work well for us, so the plan is to try expanding by adding live events. Therefore every Wednesday will be an hour and a half live show called ECW On the Road where we will run as many territories as we can to build up an audience the old fashioned way. - We book our debut of On the Road, with a non title match between Rob Van Dam and Shane Douglas. Also Dreamer & The Sandman will take on Furnas and LaFon. - On Hardcore TV, our four corners match will be Bam Bam Bigelow vs Lance Storm vs Sabu vs The Sandman to determine the #1 contender for the ECW TV Title. - We sign Homicide and Masato Tanaka to PPA deals. We hope to develope both into marquee players for us. |
