I'll eat just about any wacky thing out there, but I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around this one.

I don't drink caffeine, and I don't like sweets, so no, I wouldn't. But if you like both of those things, I'm sure it's like heaven!!

Ditto....this guy is a pretty good cook. We are currently buying bread from him each week and I can't go back to commercial bread. When he told us about homemade marshmallows, it never crossed my mind that you could make it from home since I never heard of any parents doing that as I was growing up, but I guess someone had to first make marshmallows in the kitchen at one point. So my coworker and I dared him to make Red Bull Marshmallows since we consume a can daily and they were pretty damn tasty. Apparently he boiled down the Red Bull until it become a powder, mixed it with some sugar solution, boiled it to over 250 degrees and then mixed the solution with some gelatin and whipped it up until it thickened, poured in a pan and waited until it cool before slicing it. Way better than commerical marshmallows because it you put it in hot chocolate or even tea, the stuff melts into a fine cream and doesn't just break apart like th commercial stuff.

This reminds me of the time my sister-in-law made homeade Twinkies. And yes, they were awesome. And unlike normal Twinkies, had a shelf life of about a day, due to no preservatives.

Red Bull frightens me.
(That is, unless it is Red Bull Malt Liquor... More power to ya!) |
