I lied.
Georgia beat me 84-38, lol. I was down and had to throw the entire fourth quarter and I went for every fourth down so basically every possession they had was inside the 25 or 30. It is really hard to play D with a 65 OV D or whatever vs a 99 OV O. Dan LeFevour was solid though, going 38 for 57 for 361 yards and 3 TD - 3 INT. Too bad Stafford was 18 for 21 for 301 and 6 TD. Moreno was so sick .. 18 carries for 128 and 2 TD plus 5 catches for 153 and 2 TD. Basically if he had it you couldn't tackle him. |

Ball State outlasts Navy in a 37-30 OT thriller. An int sealed the win. I was down 30-16 in the fourth, but managed two straight TD drives to tie it up.

Temple gives a big Middle Finger to the Big East, destroying the team that replaced them in the conference, UConn, 52-21. Adam DiMichele was awesome, going 24-27 for 265 yards and 5 TDs with no picks. Jason Harper added 133 yards on the ground, and stud FB Marcellous Grigsby caught 7 passes for 105 yards. Our defense was stiffling, save for a couple bad tackles late in the game that led to TDs. We held UConn to 2 first downs and 27 total yards in the first half.
Picked up 2 2* commits prior to the week as well, one a 6'6" ATH and a DT. |

Iowa State (1-0 with a 72 overall rating) jumps off to quick start and scores on their first possession with a 15 yd TD pass. We score 10 unanswered including a nice 36 yard TD run by Sr QB Julian Edelman.
We end the half up 10-7. Second half opens up with ISU connecting on a 62 yard pass - we answer on the very next play from scrimmage with a very lucky 72 yard option pitch from Edelman to JR RB Eugene Jarvis. ISU scores 14 unanswered points - 1 TD on a pick 6 - It was for sure a user error INT! We go into the 4th quarter down 28-17 but score very early in the quarter with Jarvis's 2nd TD of the game to cut the lead to 5 (we missed the 2 pnt conversion). We stop ISU and we put together a decent drive that ended with a 2yd TD pass and 2 pnt coversion good! We go up 31-28 with 2:47 left in the game! Then this happened.... arggg Okay - we still have time to drive down the field -which we did. We got down the their 10 yard line and couldn't punch it in the first three downs. So it came down to a 4th and 12 with under a min. left in the game. Edelman rolls out and connects with TE Jamie Konz and with some daylight to the endszone!: Stopped inches short - KSU loses a heart-breaker 31-35 QB Edelman went 20 of 36 for 195 yard with one TD and a pick ~he also rushed for 76 yards on 8 carries and ran one in for a TD RB Jarvis carried the ball 21 times for 163 yards a two TD's TE Konz was my leading receiving yards wth 62 on 6 catches - one for a touch and 1 just short of the game winning TD... I did get a hard commit from 2 ** DT Preston Cantrell. I play Boston College next week...
