New Upload Solution

Ok folks - we will be the first person using this solution.

My brother (lordscarlet) on this board has been working on somewhat of a universal web solution for FOF Leagues. Part of it is an upload utility. It has been setup for FOWL. There are also stats and such, but it does not have quite as much info as Ben's pages at the moment. At any rate.

I will give the warning: This is the first league using it, so there MAY be some quirks you run into. If you do, please let me know right away. The other thing is some of the interface stuff is being ironed out, so be patient when links move on the screen or some things in the very short term you have to link to directly.

So, here's what to do:

1. Go to Text Sports Network and register (yes, I know there's an error at the bottom, ignore that)
2. Go to Text Sports Network and login
3. Go to Text Sports Network
4. Click on 2021 at the top (this should just be a quirk this stage because we haven't played a regular season game)
4. At the top in the grey bar there is a "League File" link and an "Upload" link.
5. When you click Upload you want to browse to your file and click "Upload Export".


Notes:

1. If you want to see all of the past stages for this season go to textsports.net/fowl/files (again, you may have to click the year 2021).

2. Feel free to look around at the other stuff and give feedback on it. I know there are things not there that ben does, and some (most?) of that is in the works - but more interested in things that are missing, things you like/don't like, etc.

3. Team names are wrong for a few teams. This is not a problem with the site but a problem with my FOF setup. We'll get it resolved when week 1 sims.

We're actually wanting a couple of leagues to be our guinea pigs. The site is ready for it now, just knowing that some layout will be changed, content added, things tweaked, etc as we go along.

If you're interested in moving forward with it, let me know. The biggest things that it doesn't have right now are:

A) A forum (to come)
B) An Integrated Draft Utility (going to work towards integrating Conscriptor, but could be setup the normal way in the mean time)

Don't have time or patience for this stuff right now... says my username/email is already registered, so I cannot re-register. It won't accept my first several password guesses, so just in case I really did register at some earlier point that I don't recall) I have no way of retreiving my password, so I'm apparently SOL.

Alas, so it goes. We'll probably be okay with Rex running the show.
