Another dominating performance on the ground for the Razorbacks today as we took out the #23 Sun Devils 78-10.
For the second straight game we had two running backs run for over 200 yards and a third run for 100. Here are the final numbers. Ricky Bowling - 20 carries - 227 yards - 3 TD De'Anthony Curtis - 20 carries - 222 yards - 2 TD Jerico Nelson - 13 carries - 106 yards |

Numbers like this scare me. I don't think I've had 200 yards rushing as a team in either this dynasty, or my Wisconsin dynasty. |

We can add a day or two if Mike needs it, since this game was locked in and I knew he was gonna be busy as hell.

Our game looked closer than it was. We win against Duke 41-20, but 14 of their points came in the last two minutes.
We're trying to buck the trend and our starting QB threw for 370 yards and 4 TD's in the first 3 quarters before the subs came in.

Colorado has a big win and some redemption, beating USF 52-31, following our most offensivley balanced game in EBFL history.
Karl played tough, but we had all the breaks today. No denying this whatsoever. We escaped a few sure INT's, and Scott had some absurd runs, and add that to the fact I had a TD that prolly wasn't, and he had a TD that was, but wasn't called, and that's how it ended. Quick stat review: Hawkins: 16/24 for 284 and 4 TD Scott: 26 for 223 and 1 TD Smith: 6 for 131, 3 TD Butler: 4 for 75, 1 TD |

GG, Danny. Our defense just couldn't do anything positive. Any third down seemed like an inevitable conversion. Case in point: He only punted once, and it was near the end of the game on my 40 yard line.
Tough start to the season, but we lost a lot of guys. Just gotta keep playin'.

A&M and Kentucky had an absolute thriller that had to go into quadruple overtime to determine a winner. A&M got the lucky break by intercepting a pass to the flat on the first possession of the 4th overtime and took it to the house to win 53-47.
Incredibly close game throughout and there were several times where one inch either way would have won or lost the game for both teams. Great game Grammaticus and good luck the rest of the way. |

Pitt managed another win against #20 Kansas State in an offensive shootout in the rain. Both QBs threw for over 300 yards but 3 picks thrown by the K-State QB made the difference.
Below is a video of a TD I gave up...if I can make the embedding work right. I've never seen the CPU attempt or complete a pass of this length. |

Yeah, great game Ironhead. That one was definately a struggle to the very end. Good luck to you as well. Put the hurt on the rest of the Big 12.

Mike and I have played our game, looks like everyone is done now.
For the 3rd straight year, UNC/NC State comes down to the 4th quarter, and for the 3rd straight year, UNC wins. This one is a 17-10 nailbiter. I'm going to have some regrets about losing this one. Mike Glennon threw three interceptions, including two inside the 10 to kill 10+ play drives without any points. I had a legit chance to go into the half up 17-7 or possibly 21-7, but instead we were tied at 7 at the half. This was the best defense I've played against UNC in our 3 matchups, forcing a few 3 and outs. In past seasons I've had a hard time slowing his passing game at all. And by the same token, UNC has a MONSTER linebacking group that was able to shut down Brandon Roberts, he only had 73 yards on 27 carries. I was able to get some great runs set up, but Roberts simply could not break a single tackle to get through the UNC LB's to break any big runs. Hopefully there will be a rematch of this game down the road in the ACC Championship game. |

Excellent game the turnovers were the difference. The 1 long PA pass for a TD to tie the game kept me alive.
Hopefully if we do have a rematch for the title you only have 1 99 speed RB again! Now if I can turn these victories on the field, into recruiting wins I will really be haappy! Last edited by Mike1409 : 02-03-2009 at 07:44 PM. |
