Midwest Snow Storm Take Two

6-10 inches in the forecast for Michigan by Tuesday, though I have doubts we'll get near that much.

Anyone affected by this yet?

We'd better not. I am in no mood for that kind of nonsense.

My brother-in-law is currently looking for tickets for the National Championship game, and will have to be back to Chicago Tuesday at noon central. He's going to have some fun..

Yep, all Sunday activities cancelled due to freezing rain and snow, just north of Des Moines.

Sounds like the storm has weakened but we're still looking at 6 inches.

Is this the same storm that has postponed the opener for the Royals - ChiSox?

I thought I'd take the train today, but there wasn't much snow at all, and it was all overnight, and even with that, I didn't have to brush any off the car. It'll probably still dump all over Michigan, though (or it probably is right now).

All this moisture coming up out of the Gulf will push off to the east and hit Altoona.

We were supposed to receive the brunt of this one, but it ended up only being about 5 inches. I'm not hearing of any significant problems, though we had a brief power outage around 6:30 due to the high winds.

I'm debating whether to shovel. It'll all be gone in a couple of days anyway, but I know I'll get stuck coming home tonight if I don't.
