New Star Grand Prix
Looks like the maker of New Star Soccer has a new game out and I like the price point. Now I just gotta find the time to try out the demo. Check it out.

I was just coming here to post this... At work so I have not had a chance to try the demo. Going to give it a go tonight and see if it's worth the 10 bucks.

Speed Circuit. There was an earlier Avalon Hill game called LeMans that was similar.

It's a good game, but the difference between Normal and Hard difficulty is enormous. Normal difficulty will see you win nearly every race whilst Hard difficulty will see you struggle to finish much higher than 15th.

Oh the memories of pestering my dad for hours to play Speed Circuit. Mostly I remember him thinking the car noises I made were cute, until he started losing, then he told me to shut up. |

Is there a racing game like Speed Circuit that is for the PC? Maybe something with a career mode?

Difficulty is being taken care of in a patch.
I got the game to load, but once a race started it pooped and crashed. Not buying unless I get it working.

Ah yes, Speed Circuit.
I would play solo games with a di(?). Roll it and move each car. That was a great game. I would love to see this game on the PC. If someone ever bought those titles and developed PC turn based sims, I imagine they would make a fortune (hint, hint someone). |

Tried the demo, not bad, lots of learning curve. Could be a hellish time waster during the wee hours of the night =)
