That is so sad! I have wayyy too many stickers. The lady at the store gave me a funny look when I bought 30 packages of stickers when they were on sale and tried to suggest some made up project that we might be doing to rationalize it for herself. I just let her think whatever made her feel better. |

Do we still follow cut rules, or are we free to cut whoever we can afford to?

Don't forget the Republic League where the Long time Colorado manager (Tasan) goes up against Colorado's former manager (Chief Rum) both of whom won 2 of Colorado's previous FOOL Championships as their manager. |

Ouch muns. Look on the bright side (I guess): Your pitchers set the record for individual single season starts and losses!

Thanks! I guess my self-prophesied fall from grace is delayed for yet another year. Really, though, this is just Fate's way of dragging out kicking me for another day, since I am the Buffalo Bills of FOOL.

Nice effort by my team, this team was not manged properly with the finances so I've had to live close to the budget and lose a lot of good guys....Hopefully I'll turn this around soon!

Per league rules, you should have taken advantage of the 20 Million afforded to you for cutting bad contracts. If it's any consolation I think your outfield would win the FOOL Relays.

You also have a player or two primed to be cut! You've got $22mil sitting in the bank, so if you cut Pittis, Cooke and Riley, you would rid yourself of 3 pricey contracts...without effecting your budget one bit. (Anything over the $65mil salary cap is wasted, and you can only carry over $15mil into the next season...so use it or lose it!) Each of those players could be easily replaced at a far cheaper rate.

The key thing to remember is you need to do it this sim before the playoffs complete or it will count against next year's budget and not this year's. |

Stopping by to check in and say hello to everyone. I see Hector Romero retired from Triple A this year He was my favorite player in FOOL so that makes me a little sad, oh well. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the game, I see there have been lots of changes around here in the short time that I've been gone. I should be back in about three weeks to run Chico back into the ground!

Yeah, Hector Romero decided to get fat on twinkies and beer after you left, and ended up becoming worthless by the age of 33-34. but I knew you liked him so kept him a Rebel to retire there (even in his last season it was at AAA simply because he wasn't even good enough to be a bat boy anymore). Glad you are doing well! see you when you are back. |

Dola, Right now Chico has the #1 rated farm system in the league (according to BNN at least), so maybe when you are back in 3 weeks, you will not have to come back to a mess at least!
