The progress I felt my team would make this year put in a box with what to do with Sierra. I REALLY wanted to see him get 400 wins but I also needed some redemption in getting my team back to being a contender. Being called out for some "questionable" free agent signings last season was the main reason Sierra didn't get put into the rotation this year. I did try to sneak in some spot starts but the AI didn't agree and kept him from making any of the starts. I suppose my pride in putting out a good team cost the league a pretty cool piece of history. If the money lined up, I had planned on offering him another shot at 400 but he did the right thing by retiring a Hero.

I tip my cap to the greatest player I have ever witnessed in the OOTP world. I was fortunate to keep him in New York for his entire career and my team just won't feel the same without him on the roster.
