PureSim 2 Predicts the AL and DL Champs
We are releasing 2009 End of Season Rosters in our first content update for PureSim Baseball 2 early next week. I wanted to have a little fun, so simmed both series in sandbox mode (162 game 2 team schedules). I let the AI do everything, I only did one thing, which was set them to 4 man rotation. Nothing scientific, but fun
The results: AL - Yankees (in a rout boo!) NL - Phillies (Closer, but clear winner) View more info here |

According to the headline PureSim 2 also predicted the DL Champs...the New York Mets.

I am rooting for the two Cali teams but think the Phillies and Yankees will wind up winning, so this seems accurate enough to me.

Looking at the Shutout leaders, when did Blanton start looking like Antonio Bastardo? |
