Wednesday, October 5th, 2044: Hit #3000 for Winged Lingerines Griffith
Ann Arbor's Mike Griffith entered the record books today as he collected hit number 3000 at Ann Arbor Grounds.

"I am proud of this. Not too many player reach this level. You have to be around quite a few years and you have to get a lot of hits," Griffith said after the game.

On his milestone day he went 3 for 4 as the Winged Lingerines won 8-2 over the Hyannis Patriots.

Checking out his career figures, Griffith has played in 2742 games with a .283 batting average. Among his 3002 hits are 199 home runs. He also has scored 1646 runs, stolen 211 bases and driven in 1317 runs.

Friday, October 7th, 2044: 300 Wins for Ueda
Terriers ace Naofumi Ueda reeled in his 300th career victory by beating the Tokyo Cyclones 1-0 at Zion Stadium. In his historic win, he notched 3 strikeouts in 8 innings, yielded no runs and 5 hits, while surrendering 1 walk.

"I tried to focus on each batter," said Ueda after the game, "but as the game goes by, I couldn't help but think about the possibility. 300 is a big number. It's a pretty exclusive club and I'm honored to be a member."

Thus far in his career, Ueda has worked 4533.1 innings with 3692 strikeouts en route to a 300-214 record. The 40-year-old also has a 3.87 ERA.

Monday, October 10th, 2044: Chico's Serrea Gets 2000th Hit
He made it!
Júlio Serrea got hit #2000! The Rebels left fielder got his milestone hit at Rebels Ballpark against Ann Arbor. But it wasn't enough to bring home the victory. Chico was beaten by the Winged Lingerines 11-3.

Serrea's reaction to his accomplishment was nonchalant. He doffed his batting helmet to acknowledge the fans, who were chanting his name.

His manager said, "Júlio doesn't pay any attention to individual statistics, the only thing he cares about is winning. He will be more concerned that we lost the game."

Serrea finished the game with 1 hit in 5 at-bats.

Serrea has compiled a career batting average of .285 with 2000 hits, 206 homers and 987 RBIs.

Wednesday, October 12th, 2044: Bradford Claims 200th Victory
Mike Bradford of the Baltimore Charm will go down as one of the league's legendary pitchers after his 7-3 win today against the Newark Terriers.

"It felt like it was a postseason game, one out at a time," said his manager. "It was something special to see."

The 34-year-old Bradford picked up his 200th career victory at Charm Ballpark. He hurled 7 innings, gave up 2 hits and registered 5 strikeouts along with no walks.

"I've worked a long time for this," Bradford said. "I can't believe it's really here. It feels great!"

During his career Bradford has compiled a 200-147 record with a 3.39 ERA in 490 starts.

The Rebels left fielder got his milestone hit at Rebels Ballpark against Ann Arbor. But it wasn't enough to bring home the victory. Chico was beaten by the Winged Lingerines 11-3. Serrea's reaction to his accomplishment was nonchalant. He doffed his batting helmet to acknowledge the fans, who were chanting his name. His manager said, "Júlio doesn't pay any attention to individual statistics, the only thing he cares about is winning. He will be more concerned that we lost the game." Serrea finished the game with 1 hit in 5 at-bats.
