I read earlier where all non-Rock Band instruments will be played by the guitar. That will explain the strings and other instruments.
I think every song will be downloadable at some point. Regardless of what that entails for all four parts, that's how they're going to roll to maximize their profits. |

These are accounted for...
Dummy me bought the whole Sgt. Pepper DLC and forgot that all three of my free downloads from Gamestop were from that album. I have the following codes for free (XBOX 360): When I'm Sixty-Four Lovely Rita Day in the Life First one to PM me gets them!

My brother is getting this for Christmas for the Wii. Is there an easy way I can buy him some of the albums? I have no idea what DLC means!

DLC = down-loadable content. I know they sell points at Best Buy for the XBOX 360 marketplace but not sure about the Wii.

I'm not as excited about Rubber Soul as the first two, but I'll be buying it. Hopefully there's enough sold that they do more (I'm hoping for White Album and Revolver).

Pretty quiet on the DLC front. Makes me wonder if they sold enough DLC to make it worth doing more...

Unfortunately that's the rumor on the rock band forums. Which would be very disappointing because there are several of my favorite songs that aren't in game yet.

Hey Jude really needs to happen at some point. It's the one song I really WANT to play in that game.

The other major concern I have is whether the Beatles did well enough for a Rock Band Led Zeppelin project to happen. I have no idea if Zep is open to the idea, but I'd guess that some of the technical hurdles Harmonix has with the Beatles catalog, namely creating separate tracks for each instrument, might also be an issue for the Zeppelin catalog - at least the first few albums. That cost is a major impediment to Harmonix doing more Beatles content given the work needed to isolate the instruments from the original recordings.
A more recent group like U2 shouldn't have that issue, but while I'd enjoy a U2 release, Led Zeppelin would be the ultimate in my book. |
